Keyshot is a multi-threaded CPU based rendering engine revered by engineers and product designers for its speed and ease of use. Keyshot will take full advantage of all of the CPU cores in your workstation so if rendering is a major part of your workflow, then you should aquire as many cores as your budget allows. If you have a balanced workflow of 3D modelling and Keyshot rendering, then you’ll still want a CPU with a high clockspeed. We recommend the APEXX 4 for local rendering and the APEXX 5 for dedicated rendering solutions. We also recommend the renderPro for any dedicated rendering needs.



Inventor

Since the frequency of the core determines performance more than any other variable, a workstation with less cores (but higher frequency) is ideal. We recommend the APEXX 2 for modelling with Inventor and the APEXX 4 or APEXX 5 for rendering.
